Tracy the last few cans of Tripett I've gotten have been grainy too - ick! Nothing worse than squishing it in the bowl and hearing that squeaky awful gritty noise...the dogs don't seem to think there is anything wrong w/ it but I find it really gross. Interesting to know that isn't the norm.

Thank you so much, Tracy. I'm going to try some canned Ziwi. The smaller cans look perfect too. I just checked and it's available at a shop near me too. So one tablespoon for a meal then? I was confused if you meant you fed Brody a tablespoon to help with supplements or if you meant that's the amount you feed him for a full meal. It seems like such a little amount which makes me wonder if I might be overfeeding Pip and Roo a bit.

Kristi, so you found the grit in the tripett too? Ewwwwwww!!! I don't like that. Did yours have those big gelatinous fat blobs too? I just thought the last can I opened was gross. Paula, no I give a tablespoon with supplements but IN his regular food which might be half of a freeze dried S&C or a pinch of Ziwi or whatever he is eating that day. I don't think you are overfeeding. I just don't feed whole meals of the canned. I just use it as a topper or as a side dish if that makes sense.

Good luck with the canned Ziwi Paula! I bet they'll love it. ZP sent us a can along with the jerky food when we got our free samples and all four of mine went nuts for it.

Thank you for the reply, Tracy. Makes total sense. And thanks Katy. I'm going to pick some up today and see how it goes. I bet you're right and they'll love it!
