Hi Louise - I work at Hills and they recommend it as its good for their joints but he mainly has the RC light to keep his weight down. x They would recommend it LOL have a look at the ingredients the likes of hills and royal canin could do with doing sone research into canine nutrition. Their meat contents are v v low and wheat/corn etc which is hard for dogs to digest due to their digestive tract being so short! There are worse products on the market than Hills and Royal Canin - I think their products are good and Charlie likes them as well and his tummy is fine with both Hills and Royal Canin. I wouldn't give him bones or raw food but thats just how I feel. I have a friend who only feeds her dogs raw fish and chicken its really a matter of opinion and what you believe what is best for your dogs.

I always forget about this thread! Brody had a beef shank rib for dinner tonight so this thread inspired me to take some pics and start a new thread on what our pups eat. a.m. Stella and Chewys dandy lamb with a teaspoon of tripe. One capsule of salmon oil. One capsule of vitamin E. Glucosamine supplement. p.m. Beef shank rib. (see pics on the new thread).
