I have the box that tells you when you have one! Go to PM's. Then to preferences (on the right at the top). And then click preferences and then click YES you want to be alerted when you get a PM. It works for me.

Hmmm i cant see pm's like on chi ppl, i dont actually have a profile page whwere folk can leave visitor messages and then send a private message.
When i click on my name it takes me straight to modify profile etc, am a i bein thick?

Yeah its different forum software to what they use on vbulletin, unfortunately we can't change it  But yes, if you click on your name and click "modify profile" that is where you can change the settings for your account |
