How much does it cost to feed your dog?

Mine would be more probably, but got the food v cheap on offer at Pets at home, Zooplus is normally cheaper, and bought in bulk.

Ive changed my three Chi's onto Ziwi. I think its costing me around £7 a week.

I would say about £4 a week to feed the 2 italian greyhounds and the chihuahua cross.

The hounds and the setter have food specially made for greyhounds. They make several different ones the one I use is for resting greyhounds and so has lower protien. It costs £12.50 for a 15kg bag which lasts a week and feeds 10 whippets a greyhound and a setter. So about £1 a week each for the kibble and the £15 for raw enough to last 10 days but not all of them have raw. I would say about £2 a week for each dog to feed the bigger dogs.

Feeding greyhound food goes back to when my show greyhound was alive as it was the only thing that he would eat other than fresh fish. We did try him with fish4 dogs but he wouldn't touch it. Also you don't pat VAT on greyhound food.

Mine have fish for dogs complete, and raw as tidbits x its cost about £4 pound a week and im currently feeding 4 ... so about £1.00 a week per dog ....

but when i go to the 99p store i get some treats like shermackos but not that often ....

but when i have been going to shows it may cos more as i have to buy my little one sausages as her titbit !

We spend on 2 chis and 5 cats (and 1 beagle who is fat and on a diet) about $40-50/mth. We have awesome suppliers, get a lot of meat on sale, and buy in bulk (three freezers!).
