Last year when Pixel was tiny the winter was a nightmare - walking her was hell as she got so cold. I bought a HUGE number of jumpers and coats and they were RUBBISH! In the end I found equafleece and got her an equafleece coat and it was just perfect for her.
Sadly over the last few months - probably as a result of overfeeding and lack of movement with her bad leg she's chubbed up and it doesn't fit her now. So I will get a bigger size and let Rez use the small one.
BUT Rez is bald in some places, his elbows, tummy and his chest is pretty sparse. He is already shivering in the morning when I take him out to wee (Pixel with her fat layer is fine!)
So I think Rez will need something to keep him warm in the house during the winter - what can I use?
I need practical and really don't care what it looks like provided it can be put on and off easy and is comfy and warm. I am thinking overnight especially he could be freezing.
All relevant websites much appreciated!

Yes i'm not into the clothing either but last year it was SOOO cold - the only way to get Pix out was with her equafleece and then we had to walk her fast to keep her warm.
If it's as cold this year then Rez will not be able to walk with us without some kind of fleece I dont think. I have heat pads that I can warm up for them at night but they don't stay warm for 8 hours. Any other ideas for keeping them warm in winter when the heating is off?
Yes it's so cold already and on our walk tonight there are SO many leaves off the trees, acorns everywhere. I can't believe it's coming already, it's come about so fast.

I get the puppia fargo coats for all of mine, I've yet to find a superior coat product for dogs. They weren't cheap but we have pretty harsh winters here and so they are worth it when they have grown to their adult size.
