Love that pic of Perry. Can't wait to see how it works!
Sarah kindly gave us some and its really helped Rogue's eyes. I'm going to order some when I get some money and give it to all of them.

I don't know how the natural works. The others have an antibiotic in that kill the yeast that causes it. What I will say is don't use it when a bitch is in whelp as it's not proven to be safe yet so best not to. The standard Angels Eyes uses Tylosin to kill the bacteria on the fur that would otherwise metabolise the metallic content in the tears and lead to the production of the red yeast. The Natural Angels Eyes uses plant extracts with antibacterial qualities, some that boost the immune system and supposedly help to maintain tear duct function. Basically both versions are supposed to work by controlling the bacteria. There are other products that work by preventing the bacteria from metabolising the metals, either via antioxidants or by changing the Ph of the tears. The natural stuff willprobably take quite a bit longer to work, almost twice as long in some cases BUT the potential risks are much lower and it is probably safe to use in the long term, unlike the antibiotic stuff. Importantly, the natural version is legal. Tylosin is not licenced OTC for dogs ANYWHERE in the world.

so after months of deciding i ended up ordering some angels eyes. it came today and i believe its chicken flavor? i have been told by a Maltese breeder to pop in straight in there mouth before they eat there dinner so they get a whole dose, i will do that because im jealous of her dogs beautiful whit coats. how long do you think i should use it for? and how long till i see some results? Good luck- they are gorgeous. Fair play to the company that sent the natural vrsion to you. If Customs and Excise had seen the antibiotic version they would have refused to let it through. They clamped down on it a number of years ago. When you need to re-order check out the following- NaturVet Tear Stain Supplement- look very closely at the ingredients and the price www.naturaldogs.co.uk/store/natural-tear-stain-remover-food-supplement.htmlIts what I use- I used to buy Angels Delight but the NaturVet is way cheaper. Please do give the Natural Angels Eyes a chance to work, you might be able to speed things up by opting for a food free from processed grains such as Taste of the Wild or Orijen
