Please get him on alfieslostdogs. ASAP. As they contact vets etc in that area also do brilliant posters for you to print out.

Stating the obvious, but I hope they can get friends and family out looking for him. Dogs, especially timed nervous ones will often take fright and hide somewhere quiet. An evening or night time is always a good time to go searching for them. Of coure this only applies if they have actually lost him, not if he's been taken, though there is always the chance that he could be abandoned by thieves.
I've put him on FB page and he's been reposted, so I'm sure with everyone trying there will be lot's of pics of him online.

So scary and so sad. I would be absolutely beside myself if this happened to one of mine. keeping fingers & toes crossed that they find him soon xxx
