Rabies is so hard to decide. I can tell you though, after Mobie/Boo had the bad reaction to his distemper/parvo vacs (I did have his done *was his third parvo & second distemper* at 14 weeks before he went home) that they did opt to get his rabies vac (premedicating of course) & he tolerated it absolutely fine! I'm not sure if they'll opt to give another parvo/distemper at 1yr or do the titer but he was ok (not great though) after the 14wk vac with the vet premedicating with Benadryl. He looked 'off' & was sleepy of course, but he did ok.

Cheryl...you haven't been checking that boys mouth regularly?! LOL After Leila being a brat with looking in her mouth I'd thought you'd have made sure Finn was a champ with it!

I know *looks down shamefully*....I'm a bad girl! :/
I called the vet and told them to have him remove any baby teeth he can and also to put in the microchip.

I'm going to keep busy tomorrow while he is at the vets by making a new special snuggle sack for him to cuddle in when he comes home! It's the cutest fabric and super duper plush interior fabric. It will make me feel better anyway!

you did the right thing re the teeth. Rez has retained babies this last week! The canines just aren't moving and after his issue there is no way he's having another ga. I spoke to my vet about it and he wanted to wait and see - but i think even he would agree now that pulling them at the same time would have been wise.

Rez was microchipped too.

Can't wait to hear that Finn is back with you and its all done.
