The last few days I've noticed a change in Nalas temperament. She's been growling and snapping mostly in the evening. She has been attacking lily and won't even let simba near her and he's her best friend! It seems to have gotten worse last night and she has been really licking herself all morning. I've made an appointment for the vet this afternoon but does anyone know what this could be? She doesnt seem ill and she runs around playing all Day this only really happens at night. She's not due to come into season - her last one was 11 weeks ago. I'm terrified it could be pyo...

It could be pyo. Has she got any discharge?? Put a tissue on her and dab. How old is she? I would get to the vets just to be safe

No discharge. She's running around playing just now and seems fine but I'm still going to be sure I'm probably just paranoid but it's better to be safe

She has actually been like this before and it lasted about a week and then she was fine again so it could be a hormonal thing? Has anyone ever experienced this?

Lotus is v v snappy leading up to her season and 2 weeks after ATM I have to Pick her up if a stranger approaches in the street because she is kicking off.
It's the licking that concerns me I would get a ultrasound just incase.

The vet did an ultrasound and said there was nothing wrong but to come back in a few days if she's still the same and he'l do blood work. He thinks it could be hormonal. I've brought her down to my bf's house and she's fine so hopefully giving her some 1 on 1 attention will cheer her up
