Ok so I caught Finn doing the Humpty dance with one of our skineez toys! He has been neutered so i thought that would stop all the nonsense. What gives???

It takes awhile for the hormones to get out of there systems, and some dogs are just more dominant than others, ... puppy boys AND girls hump to tell things they are boss of them. All 'long' toys got removed when my boys were young because they were hump-ables lol. don't worry, he will outgrow it. Even Bryco who is still intact doesn't hump anymore.

My boys still go through phases where they hump each other. Never toys or pillows or people...just each other. Usually when they get playing really rough leads to humping.

ha ha Cheryl. Well just take the skinneez toy away until later. Sometimes those long skinny toys just get them going. Brody used to have a monkey toy that he 'loved'. I was trying to figure out how to get him to leave it alone and some wise person said 'get rid of the monkey. Pronto.' ha ha. OK, just needed it spelled out I guess.

Y'know it's weird winston hasn't been neutered and he doesn't hump anything...never has! He also has never marked in the house and he isn't a big marker outside either. I think the smaller the dog, the hornier they are!
