The whole thought of breeding is really daunting to me so far lol, I can't believe how carelessly some people go about it...I know not all 'pet' breeders are careless, I am not trying to say that, I mean more the people just letting their pets get knocked up...anyway...that's why I just keep buying more show dogs hahaha. I know, with all of the things that can go wrong it just seems so scary! It is definitely not something you can do lightly. I will just enjoy my lovely pets for now and have fun competing them in agility.. Someday I will find a puppy I can show for real

I can help you find something when you start looking ... it can be a PITA to look! Doubt I'll have any by then but you never know...start learning 'lines' now, so you have a good idea what you might want later It took me about 2 years to learn the major US lines pretty well.

You can 'train' yourself on your current dogs too, get them stacking, get them baiting...omg lol, I practically ruined Bryco w/ all my mistakes and could barely finish him...wish I'd practiced more w/ my pets.

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely start doing some research. It will probably be at least 3 years until I can have another dog, so I have a while to look

Haha my first champion is basically 'useless' to me, love him and he isn't going anywhere, but yeah,...it doesn't matter though, I could have known EVERYTHING, but most people won't sell you something finish-able til you've finished something yourself, so stupid, I know.

you know what pisses me off the most, the whole ease of it all for them so many people do the right thing and end up with csections or other things going wrong, few weeks ago me and another exhibitor spent our whole friday and saturday nights trying to mate two dogs, on the floor on a argos catalog on the table, we tried every thing and couldnt get it to happen sucks that people just leave them to it in a cage and it happens

It's always the way though Louise..
Like heroin addicts who get pregnant and still take it their babies get off fine then you get me who followed everything give birth early and have a brain damaged kid! Life is shit

T makes me laugh. Funny I can't even look at her posts any more w/o "stalking" her! I did look at her bed thread because she has decent taste in beds. So sue me? What gets me is she saves the time stamp of the board activity. That thread was posted weeks ago! LMAO!! And who's the stalker? I'd been checking threads all night because my kids & hubby were gone & I was curious about what everyone was riled up about & went back to that thread to reply & it just happened to be after T replied. So to her it automatically means I was "stalking" her. LOL
Good grief if only I had that much time on my hands!! I'm hardly on that board. Maybe on there daily but to take a quick peek & I may reply to a post or two. I certainly don't have time to be completely active let alone follow her activity! She is absolutely ridiculous & basically made herself look like an a$$ by posting those time stamps of board activity. I'd never even think to do that or even CHECK to see that info!!! LOL
