Oh the 'smell her' comment...hahahaha I do it all the time, because thank all that's good and mighty my little dogs always smell fresh and clean...except Bryco who's always pissing his belly band and rolling in shit out in the years...yummy. He's due for a bath ANYWAY...we have Kimber on kibble and if her 'smell' ... STENCH ... doesn't improve by the time shes switched fully to Acana & some PMR idk what I will do...dogs stink...bad Its true tho, raw fed dogs really don't smell. They don't smell 'like a dog' at all. Its odd but wonderful

Kristi why don't you put an add on craigslist for freezer burnt meat and left overs from hunting as it's hunting season so at least with the bad weather hippo can be raw fed so she don't smell rancid

I have Sarah, no luck as of yet...we need to buy a freezer too. She smells awful She also keeps peeing her crate every night even if we get up w/ her in the night and so I'm sure sleeping in your own piss doesn't enhance your smell hahaha...She does great w/ house training in the day but IDK hahaha if we are getting up more than 1x in the night w/ her. Its hard to remember shes a baby when shes this 30 lb lug!

Wonder why she is going in her crate I'd keep advertising in different sections and hope people on fb seem to get these huge amounts of meat for free

OMG that's funny & cute! He is very proud of his granddogs! I'm glad Lotus did so well too-she knows a Chi lover when she see's one I guess. hehe Aww poor Kimber stinky girl! I bet once she's 100% on Acana she'll smell better. Hopefully anyway!! And the peeing in the crate--I dunno why some dogs do this. Lulu did for a while too. I think it just takes them a while to know our routines & when we'll be up to let them out. With Lulu I had to make her crate smaller. I felt terrible because she had not much room (only enough to stand & spin around) but it worked!! So something to think about...

She pees a LOT outside, too, like 10+ 'tinkles' so I am going to bring a urine sample over to the vet's tomorrow to see if she might have a UTI. I just can't imagine its normal to pee that much and it seems to be getting 'worse' ie more 'tinkles' so I think something's up.
