So leilanis tooth just fell out. It's one of the back pre molars, the same teeth fell Out on lotus first too. Everything I've read says that they cut their incisors then canines then Molars and re molars. Are my girls backwards in teething?
Leilani is quite old for first tooth out I think as she's 6 months on Sunday. My others all had way more teeth by now?

Penny lost her molars first.. She needed to have her canine teeth pulled as they weren't coming out.

See I wonder why google says Otherwise??
Daisys last canine was hanging and I made my vet just yank it because he wouldn't take it out at her spay! Lotus fell out at about 9 months
Leilani has a tiny mouth so I'm paranoid I don't want To put her under for her teeth out

Brody's premolars are still baby teeth. I'm glad I didn't have them pulled as I don't think there are any adult teeth underneath?! I'm all for pulling the canines or a whole row of 'doubles' but I think I would be careful about having the vet take out ALL baby teeth (as I suggested to mine) before you know, without a doubt, that there are adult teeth there. I wish I would have had his mouth x-rayed before I had teeth pulled at his neuter, as he is short some teeth.

I haven't found chis follow the 'teething' rules lol...kind of annoying. I do pull baby teeth because I don't want mouths or bites messed up but obviously you can keep an eye on things. The one problem I would not just keep an eye on is if the bottom canines don't come out and the adults come in INSIDE the baby teeth, ... when they reach the top teeth they will really mess things up.

Yeah, Lulu's premolars came out at the same time her incisors were...or shortly after. Threw me for a loop because I'd thought they'd be a bit! I haven't had ONE Chi that lost their upper canines on their own. Well, Maya did one but it only came out when she was in a bitch fight with Mari & got yanked out. hahahaha This is why I had Lu's out though...her top canines were solid as can be & her lower canines were erupting inside of the babies. It's not even been a week & the adults are already moved almost all the way forward to where the babies had been. Leilani is slow to teeth but I suppose some are. At least they're starting to fall out now!
