For those of you that give bully sticks, what do you do with them when they get really small...like small enough the dog can get the entire piece in their mouth? I wondered if people just throw them away at that point or what. Reason I ask is because Leila had the whole thing in her mouth and i was sure she would choke on it so i threw it out!

They get rotated between who can handle small bits best (Finn is a gulper, Lo is next, and Dexter will chew the tiniest leftovers) and then they finally get tossed to the sheep dog!

I try to chuck them but sometimes Trigger or Laurel gulp them down before I get a chance...so far no issues but its something I try to avoid letting happen!

I throw them away when they are about 1/2 gone.. They get nasty and gummy by that point anyways.
