*falls over dead from the SMELL* We gorged the chi's today, beef ribs with LOTS of meat (great long meal). They look PREGGERS! LOL Also, they have camped out on the couch ALL day... wont even go for a walk. Their bellies are making gurgly noises and they keep farting... it really stinks! Tomorrow they will only get a small meal of bone and that's it for the day. Then the next again only a small meal (we tend to feed once a day here, sometimes twice). Anyone else gorge? I do it every 6mths or so (not on a schedule - more like "well, we havent done this in a while!"), and I seem to always forget they get horrible GAS after! LOL

I've never gorged, nor fasted. Although Brody does occasionally fast himself and will skip a meal occasionally. His choice. I don't think he would ever eat enough to gorge! I can barely get a couple ounces down him for his regular meals. He is not an enthusiastic eater to say the least.

I haven't ever let mine gorge, the only two I have that really would are Trigger and Laurel LOL and neither need any extra calories...but they both honestly would eat until they died I think, Trigger especially. He just doesn't have self restrained and he LOVES to eat.
What do they say the benefits are of a gorge meal?

Yes we do occasionally but not to that extent. Mine don't seem to eat their fill though. A lot of raw feeders seem to feed 6 days a week, mine would eat me in the night lol

I have created a picky eater which I always caution people about. He has to be bribed to eat most of the time. I should follow my own advice and get him over it. LOL.
