My Harbor Freight tool came a few days early.. I just wanted to confirm that this is the attachment everyone uses: Also, what speed do you use it on? I am starting out by putting it on the floor and putting treats on top of it to get Lion used to it.. I know Penny won't care, she is afraid of nothing.

Yep that is the attachment to use Let us know how it goes...since Penny probably won't be afraid I'd do her first...do a nail and give her a treat. Make it exciting. Then when Lion seems interested do the same for him, 1 nail and a treat

That's the one I use. I use the high speed. (I think mine just has one speed though?) You will be surprised how much nail it takes off so just touch it to the nail at first for a second. Don't leave it on the nail very long.

Oops, I didn't even look at the tool really before I asked what speed to use! Mine only has 1 speed as well. I will let you guys know how it works out

Good luck! Hopefully they adjust to it relatively quickly.

That's the one I have as well. Good luck with it. Mine only has one speed too. Hopefully Lion will be ok with it, but don't get discouraged if he takes awhile to come around. Pip was TERRIFIED of it for quite a long time. He would freak out and hide and then squirm like mad. He still's a little afraid of it, but he'll lie on my lap and let me use it now without too much fuss.

Well I "touched" 1 nail on each dog tonight, w/ the grinder on. I had my BF hold them.. He kept saying "Are you sure you can use that? You are going to hurt them!!" lol Penny struggled more than Lion, but I think it was because she wanted the cheese I had and not because she was scared. Lion didn't try to bite me or anything so that is a plus! I will try and do 2 nails on each tomorrow
