Lacey--since her diet change

With the help of my mom, we've managed to keep Lacey on a mix of ZiwiPeak & frozen Stella & Chewy's patties. I don't know if it'll last but she's been on this diet for a month & a half. I wanted to have a side by side photo comparison because she looks better to me but to begin with her coat was not terrible. (or I didn't think it was anyway LOL)

Lets just say...I love it!! ;D Both of these pics were taken post bath/dry. She definitely look sooo much healthier now. She's not had any mats or anything (which she frequently got before & I'd have to cut out every so often). She doesn't have so much poo in her fur to wash out & no more yellow inky looking poos from the Alpo. *gag*

Just love seeing proof of how much healthier dogs can be with being on a good diet. If her outsides look this much better...I can imagine how happy her insides are as well.

Omg Heather! It's like she's a different color! So happy you've managed to keep her on it. I bet she is enjoying her meals a lot more now too.

She is...she's actually BLACK! LOL Not a dry looking grey color. It just looks sooo much healthier & shiney. And really...even though I know her teeth are a mess I can't smell her breath when I'm near her unless she's panting in my face. So even that aspect is a bit better.

She is actually a bit picky with the ZP & will skip a meal here & there. But she loooooves S&C's which is why even my mom just had to get her some because she loves it. She seems to really enjoy food with moisture...even actual raw meat (which I only give as treats as my Papa doesn't like the idea of raw meat). She has good taste so at least the S&C's is "DOG FOOD" but the good stuff w/o him really realizing what it is. LOL

OMG what a HUGE difference!! After only 1.5 months?! Wow! That is a great comparison. I am loving it.
