Just thought I would update you guys one more time.. I was able to do 2 whole paws on Lion tonight. I am concentrating on the 2 paws that are really long because I was unable to clip them a few weeks ago(I cut his quick by accident so had to quit). He whined and struggled but no biting! I also used Tracy's tip of putting more pressure on and it ground them down quickly. Good boy Lion!

Excellent news!!! YIPPEEEEEE! Once you get the technique down of knowing how much pressure to use and being firm and confident, you can get them done in no time at all and it won't be a big deal at all.

I just wanted to thank you guys again for all of the advice. It is nice to know that other people had problems w/ some of their dogs at first but worked through them. I just did Lion's nails yesterday, and guess what?!? I did all of his feet! I even got them down nice and short w/o being bitten. He is acting a lot better and didn't throw a fit at all. Thank you
