I like the idea of removing her and rewarding her when she returns and does not bark. Thank you.
I took the girls to get their nails trimmed (yes, I have a Dremel and should do them myelf. I suck at it.) and I asked the Techs about confidence building for her. They suggested a group a bit further from me, but when I checked their site, they specifically call out some of her issues (shyness around strangers, Vet, etc.) and they are an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator (whatever it is called. They judge if they pass the standards.). I called and left a message. Hope they call back so that I can discuss which of their classes they would recommend.
They confirmed at Vet confirmed that she is not mean (I wondered if I was seeing her how I wanted) but rather timid. Responses would look similar I suppose.
Her barking does not bother us because, well, she knows us therefore never really barks at home.
Her personality is sweet and tender. She will not be, nor does she need to be, like the other girls. I just want her to feel confident and calm in other settings and when others come over. We take them to lots of car shows and car related events where there are, obviously, people, kids and dogs. I do not want those events to be stressful for her.
