That is just so bizarre, very freaky, indeed. Just so glad she is ok. Give her a kiss and a cuddle for me.

I'm honestly kind of shocked he did actual damage, like I mean he had her pretty good but??? I'm so glad she is OK...I had to get up every hour last night to check her and I was just certain she would be gone one of the times. I try not to overreact when it comes to the dogs because I have to keep a level head for their sake but this was kind of an out of the ordinary thing to happen. Trigger has NO animosity toward Leah so it got her completely by accident...while she was dead asleep! Poor thing!

Wow, I agree! What a freak thing to happen! I'm glad it wasn't more "serious"...and hopefully the chips don't get absessed or anything. Geesh...you just never know but it sure can go from normal to "panic" in a split second with these guys!

ok, maybe we can breathe easier now? I kept thinking about Leah all day... It's funny how we get so attached to other people's doggies

Therese you know I try to stay unattached to the show/breeding dogs becase you just never know and I realized how attached to Leah I am last night when her head was split open omg! I seriously paniced. I checked on her every hour last night. I'm still supposed to watch her and check on her once in the night for the next 2 days. Plus she has the antibiotics. Its so nerve wracking...little dogs just are NOT as 'durable' as big ones.

Now I am even more panicked about mine running into stuff. I would be one of those people who might not know that I had an issue. I think Leah and my 2 open headed ones need these: www.zoomergear.com/product.htmlPink, of course.

LOL Karen, I know right, that helmet would be perfect for her...except I bet it would be way too big. Leah is pretty small I don't think its very likely they will whack the top of their head though...
