I hav a friend with an LC who said it happen to her chi too but just wanted to check here too, sugar has a good coat for her age, except for on her throat, there's no hair just skin, is that normal? She's 7 moths old (31 weeks). Sorry it's a dark pic but u see wat I mean, the hair on her throat will be white but right now it's pink skin.

Louise, if you have a secret for re-growing throat hair - you MUST share it!!! Brody has a bare throat too and very sparse on his chest and underside. I think that type of baldness (alopecia) is more commonly seen in smooths. Sugar's hair loss does look extreme, but mainly because she is so fluffy everywhere else!!

I know it I know it I know it!! You have no bald dogs Kristi
Hayley Lucy's rogue has the same problem.. We aren't sure what causes it but it is on the white part too. Do you have sugars pedigree (not sure if she has one?) I want to see if it's inherited. Funny thing is in Rogue it's on her white bits too... Always thought hair loss was on darker hair but maybe not.
