Great post, Lucy! She sounds awesome. Thank you for taking the time to share all of that with us. I'm glad yours and Sarah's chi babies are getting such great care for their teeth. And aww those wee teeth! I'm glad it's over for them. I use the cotton ball trick (although I usually just use a piece of gauge, what my vet suggested) when I'm having a lazy day and don't brush their teeth, I just run it over them. I find the toothpaste does make it easier for actual brushing though because they like the taste of it.

Well our holistic vet shouted at us for not brushing the girls teeth and the dentist was like how are you meant to get a toothbrush in those mouths lol so we felt better. She also said if their back teeth are wobbly and you brush you will cause them pain because it pulls at the gums!!!
I'm scared to put the gel on her gums today it's obviously extremely sore because she isn't happy about having her muzzle touched. Can't wait for her to be back to normal she's not her usual happy self bless her.?

I wouldn't feel comfortable having a normal vet do teeth now. Since you don't just yank them out like they do

I thought the same thing about the toothbrush initially, but Kristi recommended me one with a tiny little head and it works great. I'm curious what her thoughts were on the gel? I hope she's feeling better soon, Sarah. xx Well our holistic vet shouted at us for not brushing the girls teeth and the dentist was like how are you meant to get a toothbrush in those mouths lol so we felt better.
