We had taken the 3 pups to the groomers on my street to have their nails trimmed, then decided it's a nice sunny day so we will all go a walk. That was fine. Dillon was moaning to get up after a while and we thought oh he is just tired. He just didnt want to walk anymore. I even lifted him for a bit since we werent that far from home. When we got in i saw him licking his paw and when i picked him up to have a look Jamie shouts oh my god it's glass!!
So we put the girls in their crate and rushed him to the Vet ER in town, after calling them of course. So we get there and the vet takes him through the back and a few minutes later he comes out all red faced and laughing and says well he is minty, it was a foxes Glacier mint. Oh man we pissed ourselves laughing and were so mortified!! So so relieved of course too, but still. The vet nurse said oh dont worry i got a wee cuddle from the cutie anyhow. LMAO!! That wee boy will be the end of me i tell you!! lol
I had said before we went that i would get some warm water and see myself, but Jamie said no VET now!!
Well am sure that gave you a chuckle eh. hahaha!!!

Yeah it was lodged right in between pads by the look of it, i couldnt move it and was too scared to try. lol
Oh no there was no charge thankfully. If it had been glass it would have £120 before even doing anythin. You pay it though eh cause it has to be done.

Yeah i think Jamie woulda decked the guy if he had still tried to charge for taking a sweetie out a paw. lol His paw fur isnt that long at all. Have never tried trimming it myself, he would wriggle too much. Need to find a new groomer now which is a shame cause we really like the girl on my street. She said she will miss them too.

Haha, yep that did give me a chuckle! But don't feel daft! It reminds me of the time many, many years ago when we were new parents to a cat. We found a lump on his side and decided to rush him off the vet to get it sorted ASAP, in the belief that it was a tumour, but it was caught in time, he'd have a chance. So we get to the vet's all panicky (well, I was anyway! ) and the vet checks him and says "Oh, that's nothing to worry about. Cats have mobile organs and they move around when the stomach is full". How daft do you think we felt? lol!

Hee hee! Aww Dillon! So glad it wasn't anything and also glad you weren't charged for the visit. So awful how people just spit things out like the world is their own personal garbage. Like gum and so forth. Use the garbage lazy people.

Terri if you lay him on his back you can use a little paw trimmer to do it! If he let's you do his nails I'm sure he'll let u do this mine prefer paw shaving to nails
