To be fair I plan on feeding minces in different meats, with a bone meal (wing) 3 times a week, and a chunk of liver & kidney on 2 separate days with a wing tip and some mince, tripe about once a week, same with fish and was thinking about buying the beef chunks for a meal once a week or so, or popping to tesco and buying some cheap reduced stuff to bung in the freezer for a bit of variety. Liver & kidney i'm going to buy from tesco and freeze in ice cube trays and will also buy heart from there and chop up to. Tripe will be mince probably free-flow to give him something different to chew and fish will be either tinned, mince or fresh if I can nab any reduced bargains.
Bone wise was going to buy chicken wings and lamb/pork ribs. Won't be able to get any necks as i'm not paying £10 for postage and nowhere local does them and not sure chicken drumsticks/thighs are any good for them?
Does that sound about right?

Do you have any halal butchers near you? They usually sell necks. Wings are totally fine though You can feed drumsticks and thighs but wings are so much cheaper (I bought just over 1kg for £1.94 which would last you a while). As long as you are feeding the right amount of organs you'll be fine. So you'll give him 3% of his body weight, 10% of which will be organ (5% must be liver) and 10% will be bones. Remember though, heart isn't an organ but its a very rich meat so dogs usually love it! You don't HAVE to give fish once a week if you can't get your hands on any or can't afford it. Mine don't get it that often. I bought the DAF (wholesaler that RawToGo buy from) oily fish mix so they've had it a bit more frequently, but even then is like once every few weeks. You'll be just as well buying to salmon oil and giving him a squirt with his meal a few times a week. Tripe I probably wouldn't feed once a week unless he really needs to put weight on. They LOVE it but it does stack the weight on. If you buy the frozen mince from PAH then you could give a little with a normal meal but again it doesn't have to be at least once a week.

Well that works out pretty well then. I know where there are some halal butchers...but not in a good area of town so pretty much a no-no going there as its just not in a safe neighborhood.
I forgot tripe was fattening, i've never fed it before. Lou isn't underweight so i may alternate fish and tripe every other week. I'm currently using the fish 4 dogs salmon oil and his coat is lovely on it
