Ok so there was another thread where we were talking about the benefits of raw and I said how much Kiki seems to shed... all year long. Well I swept up this morning and took a pic... Please excuse my ugly hand lol theyre really dry because I've been cleaning So that is just from yesterday afternoon till the evening. And that is just Kiki lol. Well, some of Gambits will be in there but his coat is very fine. This is how much I sweep up every day, sometimes its more. My clothes are usually covered in it. It really gets me down because I'm a very fussy person about being neat etc. and I hate it when its on my son's school uniform. Just one of those things with having a dog I guess! I just never thought it would be this bad! I do usually sweep up twice a day.

Oh and I have to hand wash all of their blankets in my bath otherwise that lump x 10 gets stuck in my washing machine and there will be hair all over our clothes for a month, despite me sitting for an hour trying to pick it all out of the machine!

Don't talk to me about shedding!!! Omg it does my nut in. We have got through endless hoovers because I can't stand having hair about (says her with 5 chihuahuas) I hate the kids sitting on the floors because of the hair, like you Lucy I hate it on the school uniforms. Uuuggghhhhh

Shedding is the bain of my life! Feo has a broken coat ( a terrier coat) and it just sheds all year round, even raw hasn't helped. Eva's coat blowing when I got her was just rediculous cos she had puppies, but thankfully its calmed down now. I don't have a hoover at my flat so I have to sweep, I does anyone else use lint rolers? I don't know how I would survive withouth them.

This time of year is horrible I think because their winter coats are coming out. If that isn't bad enough...Mari is blowing her coat too. (she doesn't shed otherwise--just the twice a year bit) I can't wait until they slow up a bit again!!

That's a lot, Lucy. I feel your pain, it drives me nuts too. Pip is my shedder. Usually around this time he'd be shedding loads, but so far he's not really shedding much. Wish it would stay that way, but I'm sure it's gonna happen soon. Roo doesn't shed at all, there's nothing to shed really.
