Why were you giving the milk? I bet it wont take long to lose it, especially once you move house!

The puppy milk replacer is a fab way to built undercoat on them, and tbh it has really worked quite well! Bahaha but I guess its a good way to build fat, too ;-p
Leah is a whopper fatty right now too but that I'm not concerned over as she is a puppy.
The LC are way harder to tell appropriate weight on. The judge gave all the dogs a really good 1x over...I didn't know what to say when she said that, I just laughed a little...I mean, what do you say, yeah, um, sorry?

LOL Kristi. Must be the milk! I can just imagine the look on your face when the judge called him a porky little fella. hee. Sometimes it's hard when we see them every day, you can lose sight a bit, especially if it's just a bit of extra weight. Should be easy enough to get it off him though. I hope so!! He looked great at 4-4.25 lbs but I don't think his wee self should be more than that, he really is quite small...its so hard b'c his coat hides how his body condition is, and feeling is only so-so as far as accuracy goes...

He is soooo pretty to me (but, hey, I know I am not actually judging him) I cannot picture him as fat! I was thinking of adding the milk replacer for Ruby. I tried giving her THK with her ZP but she is not as big a fan as Hope and Hope is getting rounder so does not need supplementing. Ruby is just super skinny! She is tall and leggy. Perhaps that makes her seem thin. Maybe B is just "big boned" haha! HAHA well he's not like fat fat, but he's chunky, you can feel it when you hold him, for sure. If Ruby will go for the milk replacer, why not? I think its a great way to get them some important puppy nutrients when on essentially an "adult" food (ZP). Bryco thanks you for your vote of confidence though

I'm trying to put weight on Kiki. I've got some tripe mince that I'm going to try first, but do you think giving her some of the milk would help or not the way to go?

I think it would help, also might help w her shedding The stuff I use is k9 puppy gold, its powder and I just mix it in w/ a touch of hot water and dump it on their food or mix it in if its grinds. I was giving him 2 teaspoons 2x a day. It was slow but he def started putting on weight around when I got him on it.
