Things seem harder today. Roo seems to think she is totally back to normal and really wants out of the crate. She's cried in there more than usual today. She actually stood up in the crate today, gave a me near heart attack seeing her standing on her back legs. That can't be good. I'm so worried she is going to undo the repair. I am about the most careful person on the planet, but it really is just near impossible to not have things like that happen. Then taking her outside she really wants to take off when she hears things. I keep having to tell her to slow down walking too. She is starting to want to walk too fast. ARGH. I hope I can survive this without getting a freaking ulcer.

I'm so pitiful! lol. Both mine lift a leg up to pee!! Daisy does to poo too That's a good point. That actually might just be the norm for her. I really don't know because Roo had LP when I got her. I guess I just thought she was lifting it due to her LP, but maybe not.

Is she on a leash when you take her out? I wasn't allowed to let Chaos walk at all so I would carry him out, put him on a leash and let him find a place to pee and then pick him up again. I know that Roo needs to use her legs though. I'm really sorry that she's already got to the point where she's had enough I know exactly what you're going through. I know you've given her stuff to entertain her already, so not really sure what to suggest. It will probably break your heart some more but just remember that you're doing it for her benefit. xx

Thanks Lucy. It'll be hard, but we'll get there. Oh yes, she is always on a leash when I take her out. She has to be otherwise she seriously might take off and start running. She already tried a couple times when I had her on the lead. I have to keep the slack very short and really be careful as she honestly thinks she is fine right now. She's walking really well at this point. Too well almost, it makes it harder.

I know what you mean. Its almost as if they ignore the pain? Maybe they aren't in pain, I just don't understand it! You should've seen Chaos playing today, I felt sick so I know exactly what you're saying. Lets hope the next 6 weeks fly by!
