Mine have never had issues with cheese, I suppose some do from what I've heard, but, I use either cheddar or cottage cheese. Mine really do OK w/ anything though, even Bryco once I got him sorted, can have anything but it seems grains / rices. I just buy the cheese sticks, like the ones you'd put in a kids lunch for school, and break them up into tiny little chunks. You can put just about anything in the treat balls tho...doesn't have to be cheese, just something that will fit in to the little hole

ok thanks Kristi. I have only given cottage cheese, never cheddar. Sure Roo would love that though. lol. I'm going to go and see if I can get a treat ball at the local pet store.

Roo had her sutures out today, yay. 1 week down, time seems to be passing really slooooow. That might be because I took off work this week though, things seemed to really drag. The ortho said her legs looked great. He also said she's ahead of the curve with her walking. He was pleased with how well she is using both legs. She's really walking quite well now. So I'm very pleased about that. Next recheck is in the middle of May. Until then it's short leashed walks, no running or jumping and so forth. She's still at 4.4 pounds, I was a bit disappointed that she hasn't gained as she seems a wee bit too skinny to me, but the ortho said he thought her weight was fine, so maybe I should just let that go. Better for her to weigh less than more with her condition too.
