i have just picked her up and all though i got good news i have also been given some bad , the good news is she doesn't have a collapsed trachea , her tonsils are very red and they are not quite sure what to make of it and has medication but will need to go back in a few days , she is a bit better in herself , still honking but is wanting to eat . The bad news is the xrays showed she has an enlarged heart , the vet on today wasn't Keonas normal vet but she will also look at the xrays when she comes in and give me a call , at this point the vet doesn't think her enlarged heart is causing the coughing but it gives me a heads up for the future .

defiantly will be telling her breeder , i know she sold keonas dad but im pretty sure she still has mum . keonas vet called me back and said her heart is also an abnormal shape and laying on the sternum , she will have a scan done in the next month to give us a bit more of an idea whats going on , Myami is from the same breeder but has different lines to keona but once Keona has had done what is needed i am thinking i will get her xrayed as well just to be on the safe side .

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about Keona's heart. Hopefully it's something she was born with & will continue to do well with & not related to the "coughing".
