It worked for 2 pups so far for me, ears otherwise wouldn't have stood, one was LC female and one was SC pet boy lol who cares, I wanted his ears up...you don't use an actual razor on the ear, rather a buzzer...buzz all the fur off the inside and the backs of the ears, yes she will look ridiculous but its fur it will grow back...wipe inside of ears out w/ rubbing alcohol. You will need skin cement and breath right strips (snoring strips) cut in 1/2...once the inside of the ear is dry you put a bit of cement on the strip and pop the strips in with the wide bit at the base of the ear going up. If your pup manages to get them out next time u may want to tape over the front and back of the ear with thick medical tape...imagine the ear is a ruler and you want to put a ring of tape around the ruler...that's how you do that bit. Its best to do this at night before they go to bed b'c they are less apt to paw at and try to remove the strips. They will set in pretty good if left alone for a bit, and should stay taped for 2-5 days. After taping for that period of time, remove everything from the ears and give them 24-48 hours rest...re-tape even if the ears are still up on their own. Repeat at least 3 times even if ears never go down. After the 3rd time let the ears stay up as long as they can on their own, followed by immediate taping if one droops. You also want her on a quality calcium supplement, google the correct dosage for your dog ... you probably want to find one for dogs specifically so phosphorus balances out. Coupled with that, a teaspoon of salmon or flax seed oil each day...ears should be solidly up within a few weeks. I do need to make a picture tutorial...I promise I will!!! I just have been so swamped.

Its not an absolute "must" in the taping process but it does help the strips stay in longer. Depends on the pup and how intent they are on getting the strips out. Mine were always bothered for the first 10 min then forgot they were there.
