So im having Jake neutered in the next 2 weeks (get 15% off if hes done before he turns 2) and i want him to have the blood test but i was just wondering those of you with long coats did the fur grow back correctly after having their neck shaved?

Ah right. Lol sorry none of mine had that! I don't have any LC but I would assume the fur would come back in as before, it may just take a while? Chaos had to have his neck shaved as he had a skin infection and its taking forever to grow back but I know that it will come back in eventually as he's been shaved for his past two ops. I'm sure someone else can offer more advice Edited because I can't type properly lol

See i cut some fur from his bum once and it took almost a year to grow back, and it grew back in a different colour to what it was before lol im worried it wont grow back the same the fur round his neck is lovely i'd hate for him to have a bald batch on his neck. Heidis grows back quite quick im just worried that jakes wont

They shave their leg too It depends on the individual dog but with summer coming he will shed his coat too also he is heavy coated so you should be able to do some sort of comb over to hide it
