I'm going to the vets later, or maybe tomorow if I can't decide. I have used up all my milbemax wormer now, and I heard from some of you that it is not very good quality so I want to change. I want to worm Feo regularly cause he has some sort of addiction to rolling in fox poo I also need new flea treatment- I use it as a preventative cause I go to my bfs farm alot and the fields are full of field mcie that will have fleas, the cat kindly brings them in the house as "presents" so all the dogs have to be treated on schedhule now. I know alot of you don't agree with pilling on the medications as a preventative, but its just my circumstances atm. I saw someone mention Advocate before?? Is this a flea and worm together? How harsh is it? can I use it regularly or will I be over-doingthe wormer part ? - As vets generally say flea treat every month and worm every 3 months. Any other products for worm or fleas anyone reccomends or any other advice welcome, might not be able to get the product used in America, never know so suggest them anyway.

I think a lot of people who don't flea or worm usually use advocate in the summer months and from what I can see from the front of the packet it treats fleas and worms.
The list of the front of the packet says 'Flea, larvae, whipworm, hookworm, roundworm, angiostrongylus, heartworm, otodectes, sarcoptes, demodex, louse'
I was using panacur and frontline but now I'm only using this. I'll probably use it for the summer months as my lot like to eat and roll is nasties lol and then I'll see how we go in winter. I probably will keep the frontline on hand though because Kiki has picked up a few before (not to the point of an infestation because its really easy to see them on her straight away).
It does say on the packet that it prevents fleas for 4 weeks.
