Losing the will.....................keep taking her on walks with the others, and on her own, but she hates them - tail and head (sometimes) down on a lead or harness. Just went with Becca and 5 of the others and still no joy All the others, including Bella, loved it. .As soon as she's home and off the lead/harness her tail goes up. Any ideas pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease???

Leave her harness and lead on her all the time til she forgets they're there? I have one that sounds like her...it is really trying. I haven't found a solution yet but leaving the lead on seems to help

I do put a collar on her at home and she is fine ..........just scared the lead may get caught somewhere. Never done clicker training but find it really off putting when others do it in the ring.........may find out some more about it though..........

oh gosh, I'd never clicker train in the ring!! But it's great for training and works well for the most part.

Maybe make the lead shorter and don' thave it on her when she's not in your sight or vicinity, but when she is, it should be on til she forgets and is happy I'd think.
I've been trying clicker training a bit and the hardest part is teaching them the click = cookie = good job! I got really quiet clickers and I wouldn't do it in the ring either just for general behaviors.

Chaos absolutely HATED going on walks. He's 1 in a few weeks and it was only about 3ish months ago I managed to finally get him to walk for more than a few steps without putting the breaks on or trying to pull out of the harness. I just took him with the other two and let him walk next to Kiki (I know you've already tried this) and then when he stopped, I just stood there and waited for him to start walking again and once he did, I just praised him lots and carried on walking with him. I just let him know that if he stopped, we wouldn't be going anywhere and he certainly wouldn't be picked up lol. I also did lots of short walks throughout the day (not always do-able though if you work etc). Personally, I think one of the best things about having a dog is going for walks lol so it was vital for Chaos to walk with us and very frustrating when he wouldn't. Thankfully now though, he's good. I don't take him often on his own but he's not as good walking on his own as he is when he's walking with Kiki and Gambit. I would also try leaving her collar/harness on without the lead whilst in the house. I also did this with Chaos (only when I was in the room) to get him used to it. Good luck

. Try coaxing with food too so when she walks she gets a treat! I would also leave it on inthe house and maybe start walking her around in the house too?
