Ive got the same problem with spice at the moment, she seems to have a fear of walking towards people (including juges) which is a big problem

I think there is a fear imprint stage at 8-12 months all I can suggest is trying to desensitise them a bit!
Lotus still chases people Down the street growling she is getting better!! But at shows she doesn't it's odd

Amelia is like that - she barks at anyone non family in the house but is fine in the ring and shows her socks off without any fear - just not as strong breed type as Cammi............typical!

Pauline lotus is bad she chases them I have to really tell her no as soon as I see her ears prick up and god forbid if another dog is on the same street hahaha if it's not Mexican it gets a verbal attack she's funny!!' some just prefer laps to the ring I think I love cammi!! She's so sweet even if lotus is mean to her

That's the problem........... she is so loving and full of character at home - I think it was a bit of a shock to all of us to see her looking so scared on a lead for walks and in the ring. She doesn't care at all when judges go over her on the table and is so friendly when people approach her too..............sooooooooo confusing.
