Roo has FINALLY let me get in there and brush her teeth proper! YAY!! I'm so happy to have finally achieved this as it's been weeks now that I've been trying. She is the most squirming little monkey and very wiry so it was very hard. She's pretty delicate so I was afraid of hurting her by holding her too firmly which made it more it difficult too. She would also hide her head and literally put her paws over her mouth. lol.
After tons of patience, and working up to it with short increments initially (very short, like 3 secs initially, ha) and tons of praise, she finally let me really get in there and brush, woohoo. Pip is an old pro now, he lies on his back now and let's me brush away, (yay Pippy) but Roo was really tough.
Anyway, I just had to share with you guys because I'm so happy about it! ;D

Thanks Katy! She is doing really well, thank you for asking! She is getting the pins removed next month most likely (they're taking an xray first) because it seems to be causing her right leg problems. She picks it up every so often. Initially I thought maybe that leg was still weak, it's definitely weaker muscle wise then her left leg, or it could be habit, but the ortho thinks it's the pins. I noticed too I can actually feel the pins, almost like it could come through her skin, eek. Here's a quick video of her using her legs. I took it randomly one day so it's not very good. Once she got Pip's favorite ball she wanted to hide it in the bed and keep it for herself so she wouldn't come back out. LOL. She's excited to be able to steal it again. Best of luck to your friend with the LP surgery. Sorry they have to go through it, I know how scary it is. I'm sure all well go well though.
