The Dog and Gun in Keswick is dog fiendly and food is great, our two love it in there and like us to sit beside the window, so they can watch the world ... and most especially other dogs ... passs by I love the Lake District, almost everywhere welcomes dogs! x

I would love to go to the Lake District! It really is a beautiful place and the dogs love it This where we stayed last time we were there ... wish I could have bought it! They only allow one dog now though, so staying elsewhere this year, near Ullswater. This cottage was in Threlkeld, near Keswick.

Oh wow, that just looks heaven! I would one day like to go but it is quite a drive!
Sarah and I are trying to get away but trying to find a place that will take 7 chihuahuas (plus two adults and two children) is not so easy haha

Sarah and I are trying to get away but trying to find a place that will take 7 chihuahuas (plus two adults and two children) is not so easy haha That must be difficult, it's getting harder and harder to find holiday cottages that take even one dog! There are some though, the one way are staying in takes three. littledumpledale.co.uk/The one above takes any number, the record being 19 So don't give up
