So glad you got him in fast. It sounds like a tummy upset. I'm betting he will be much better tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Paula UPDATE: We had a bad night... I checked him in his pen nearly every hour and at one point he was just lying flat across the blanket, out of his bed, and he looked as though he wasn't breathing. I gently touched him and he felt cold and didn't move at all... OMG did the panic kick in! Then I saw a little twitch, so I gently lifted him and he leaned against me as if it helped, so I just gave him a cuddle for a while unitl he felt a bit warmer. As I put him back in his bed, he was still moaning a bit, so I was very gentle. Although I checked several times I didn't take him out again until it was light when I put him on a puppy pad in the bath and he was very unsteady, but had a v long wee. His little heart was beating way too fast, and I wondered about hypo as he'd been fasting, so offered him a little honey which he was quick to lick off my finger, and when I offered him a little Orijen after that, he ate and drank without much encouragement and followed me around. He's defo not 100%, but his heart is back to normal rate and he's had a wander around a bit to greet the cats, so I *think* he's on the mend. We're not out of the woods just yet though, as he hasn't had done a poo yet, so I can't be sure everything's working ok... still keeping my fingers crossed

It sounds like it was a good thing you were up and checking on him during the night, that is really scary! I always check on my sick babies during the night for that very reason...keep us updated on how he does today and I hope he's out of the woods soon.

Yes I'm very glad I decided to check on him. I wouldn't have been able to sleep for worrying about him anyway That is frightening, poor Harry! Fingers crossed he'll start to get better now. Thanks Rosie oh Poor Harry!!! I hope he is better today! I'm so glad you checked on him in the night. I will be waiting for an update. Poor little thing! Thanks Tracy. Well, he did go to the toilet (when I took him for a stroll round the garden) but it went from normal to the runs and his pants got covered so then I had to stress the little guy out by washing the affected parts. He's still having a little shiver session now and again, and is obviously still a bit off colour, but he's eating a little and drinking, and he does seem to be improving slowly.
