Gosh I don't think I could handle a chi under 3lb! I would be scared they would break! 4-5 lbs is way small enough for me! Size or colour isn't that important to me now, I just want a nice standard boy next. I picked Feo to be a certain fur colour and he chews half of his fur off his body anyway.

Archie is just 7 months old and weighs 3.4lb at the moment. He is my third Chi and all mine have been late teething compared to other breeds ive had in the past. He has all his top adult teeth now just needs the bottom canines to come through completely. Sorry this is the same pic of him as before but I'm having problems wth downloading some new pics on my pc at the moment (its more than likely me !!) Attachments:

Our Mick was 5-5.5 lbs. He seemed small. Hope was 1.5 lbs. when we brought her home. That was too small. Now we have adjusted and their 3.5 lbs. seems normal...haha! They will get bigger, though.
Since we are being more specific than my first answer, I will add. (caveat: I neither show nor breed, I am just your average pet owner so my comments will be reflective of that status!).
I'd also love to have baby who is not fond of barking, welcomes new people and other pets, loves to sleep (can you tell I went from a 13 year old heart patient to 2 puppies??) and one who loves me more than she loves my husband!

Leah was impressively "sturdy" once she reached 2 lbs I never worried about her...and she's a daredevil! I wouldn't mind an adult that size some day, but one that size and healthy just often don't go hand in hand. I'd never seek it out, so to speak...I couldn't believe how TEENY TINY Lacey was at like 14 weeks old when I went to check on her for Kristy, it really shocks you, b'c they start to look like tiny dogs!
