K so my lovely little bit *roxi* has has perectely proud ears that were UP! I'd say about nine weeks and they were up most the time. It was like it just happened one day really. Well same thing now only they are floppy! WTheck?! I thought once they were up they were up! She looks just adorable, but come on we are chi people and we all know how we feel about chi ears. sigh.

its because shes teething... how old is she now? You could tape them up with those breathe right strips but i think if theyve been up once they will go back up.
My boys never had floppy ears i found it really strange that as soon as they opened they were up

Does sound like shes teething, i think they say if they were up once and they flop they will go back up....My puppies ears have never been down since they opened either which i thought it was really odd

ooh so it's not the end of the ear of the world as far as chis adn their killler ears go. THANKS! I was worried oh and yes she's teething chewing like a nut and she's about 4-5 months..wait let me think..yea, 4.
So you think I should tape them? What if I just leave them? Or is it something I must do?

Just leave them, they'll be fine. You can supplement her with some vitamin C in the mean time ( builds strong cartiledge ).

Lily my chi x yorkie mostly chi though had pricked ears until she came into season the tips went down and have never gone back upright again.
