Hello all. I have 8 months long coat chi named Boney. I just got him from my friend. I need to ask a few questions about his foods Well since he lives with me a week ago, I provide him Astor (dry) for his foods. He's seems doesnt really like it. So I gave him dry Purina Alpo 2in1 and he's really like it (for today tho, I dont know tomorrow if he's still like it:P) I know Alpo 2in1 is good for treats. But Do you guys think Purina Alpo 2in1 is good for Boney's daily foods? And if its not. What should I give for my Boney? Please help me by answer my question

Hi
I can't even find the ingredients for this food online or it on the fogfiodanalysis site, however purina are low quality foods, v v v little meat and basically corn, maize etc and other fillers so not very nutritious for your pup. That is why you feed so much of it!
Try putting him on a high quality grain free food. I don't feed dry food, or wet never have but Origen, Acana, Taste of the Wild and Fromm are highly recommended. If you want to go one step further and get a dehydrated raw then Ziwi peak is another fantastic food!

Hello!
As Sarah said, those are high quality kibbles. I did feed Orijen for a while and my dogs really liked it and I think it is a good quality kibble, but I now feed my Chi's on a raw diet.
I'm not sure if Orijen is available in your country?

I feed Kas Orijen (on Lucy's recommendation) and he seems to be better on it than he was on RC.

This is going to sound a bit gross......he isn't "straining" as much to do a number 2 and seem a bit bigger (I'm taking that as a good thing) His pink patch has def faded, still there a little bit but def reduced!
