Lol no it's not at all!! Any diet can be detrimental if not don't correctly! People will always try and scare you just ignore them!!they don't need veg.. Some people do BARF and feed veg I don't

Now im p****d off coz they are forcing their opinion that dogs NEED veg grrrr
Theres no way in hell id feed him anything that would harm him! And in all my research ive done, not one place has said they NEED veg (unless it was barf of course)
But hello im doing prey model not barf for gods sake!

I've spoken with breeders who have their dogs, bitches and pups all on a raw diet.
As long as you're doing it safely (giving the right amount organs etc) then its not dangerous.
I would take most things vets say on diets with a pinch of salt. Theres a reason they're stocked up with Science Plan.. because they sponsor their education!
Feeding dogs kibble is only a recent thing and I'm sure I read somewhere that since everyone moved to commercial dog foods, the rise in cancer, dental problems etc has gone up. Years ago dogs did just live on a raw diet.
I also read something about these dogs in Australia who lives for 20 years on a raw diet.
Infact, isn't there a person on CP who's dad is a vet and who now recommends a raw diet?

Also, they don't NEED veg, they get all their vitamins and minerals from the secreting organs. There will always be people against it and telling that its wrong and their vet says blah blah blah and their dog lived to 55 on Bakers  lol Each to their own I say! |

And yep I told her all about stupid vets etc but no no apparently i'm still wrong. Theres no pleasing some people lol
