Lol Tracy! I turned down the milk bone treat they offered us at the bank drive thru today, I just had Reese with me. I know its unrealistic, but I wish they would buy healthier treats! Sometimes I let them have them but I always feel guilty. I just had the sample bag of ZP and was alternating it and Stella and Chewys for a week or so. I didnt notice the size, but Reese and Leo were both getting loose stools. I've been feeding Stella and Chewys only for about three weeks now and Im very happy with it. Leos poops are better than they have ever been, and the difference in Reeses skin is great! He has FINALLY stopped scratching

Last time I went to the bank I had Addy with me. The teller gave her a milk bone and Addy refused it ;D
Ive been bad and have been feeding ZP alot lately. I have noticed bigger poops too. For an added change....yesterday I gave the dogs a dehydrated sweet potato. UGH!! Huge mistake. Lacey had me up every 2 hours last night pooping. Then this morning every one of the other dogs pooped in my house! Lesson learned. Those treats are going to the neighbors dogs.

But I only give them maybe 1 time a week on a Saturday morning so they have the whole day to poop it out.

Its amazing what you get use to! I always get asked in pets and home can we give your dogs a treat and I'm like NO my dogs don't eat that and if they do you can clear up the mess!!
Amazing what a bit of grain ad processing does to their poos

I've also noticed some big poopies but I'm wondering if it's because I over feed the ZP? I probably feed more at a time than I should when we do feed it just because they don't require a lot of it at a time so I think I need to feed more than I actually do? I dunno...just a thought? Idk Heather. I measure their ZP and their poops are "big", so your probably not over feeding your cuties. I think it's just the ZP. I measure it out too but I think maybe I'm giving them too much. But after hearing everyone else maybe it's just the food. LOL I have started stocking up more on S&C's than ZP so hopefully I'll not see those bigger poos any more. LOL Speaking of refusing dog treats...when I took Marley & Mobie/Boo to the vet last month they offered the pups treats. Marley is a hoover (and has an iron tummy thank goodness) so he munched it up and looked for more after initially inspecting the treat. Poor Boo didn't want a thing to do with it. The receptionist looked at me like I was growing a second head when I told her the treat was a new texture to them. LOL I didn't have the patients to explain it to her though.

Well it was! LOL Especially to Boo. The closest thing he'd had was ZiwiPeak. So the hard/crunchy thing was so not food in his book.... Marley has had crunchy treats & has been on kibble in the past so it wasn't a new concept to him. Just not the norm. And yes...the look she gave was one of "I think I heard her but I must have heard wrong..." & she didn't bother to ask for elaboration or correction. haha
