Jake is really ill

He hasn't deteriated any more since last night. He had some canikur pro paste last nite and this morn which is similar to pro kaolin but hes still been pooing brown liquid this morn (even though hes not eaten for 2 days) although it seems to be getting less frequent, and no blood in. Heidi threw up this morn, so now im worried its something i've brought back from work as we have had a few ill dogs in lately but no where near as bad as jake. The other dogs at home have been hiding away from jake all day which has freaked me out (are they picking up on something the same way a bitch would reject a pup if she knew something was wrong ) but i've moved him upstairs and hes become a bit more alert idk if its coz hes panicking about why hes up here away from the others. Will judge how he is tonite if he has the runs again i'll take him straight in but my mum said she thinks hes a slight improvement from yesterday

Aw, I'm sorry about Jake being so ill. Hopefully him being a *tad* bit better today is a sign things are moving in the right direction.

I hope little Jake is feeling a bit better today, I know how worrying it is when they get sick and you can't even work out what's wrong

He got worse. Hes at the vets on a drip and they are doing some tests :-(

I have a bad feeling that something else was going on and the neutering and anesthesia/surgery stress brought it all to the forefront. Please keep us posted! I'd definitely be looking at his liver enzymes for a possible shunt or MVD.

Gosh I hope he's ok! Is there any parvo in your area? Just with Heidi getting sick too alarm bells are ringing!!
