Hello all,

just an update Jeanie is still at the vets, been every day to see well at least twice a day lol... just carnt help it, she has just started to respond to the steriods .... phew and is slowly making progress she can eat now and stand but now they are worried about a misplaced disc in her spine this is caused by the inflamation she has susutained with the head/skull and back, but only time will tell though as the steriods ect mask this for quite a while untill she starts to ween of them but she may be on the steriods for the rest of her life, we are hoping to bring her home monday if she progress, the out come is still bleak! no one knows what recovery she will have, she still could have brain damage or a a relapse so her showing days are over now ;-( still got a long way to go.... but my god for a small dog she is proving to be a fighter! even the vet says she got a strong heart ! x

just a quick note to people that have insurennce !! her treatment to date is in the region of 3500 pounds plus.... most cheaper insurences it is only covered for 2500 per incident and only for a year of treatment ....

Good point you make about insurance, the cheaper ones are rarely the best!

i'm glad your dog is getting better! Insurances can be such a pain, I went higher for Pixel and with everything going the way it is I am glad too!
