Apparently someone has had to set up a labradoodle rescue as then novelty is wearing off a few years after the craze started and so many are getting dumped People are breeding them and selling they are hypoallergenic, not all from the litter end up being non shedding like the poodle parent but they sell them saying they are all alergy friendly.

Not so many years ago all these crosses would have been classed as 'mongrels' and would have been free or cheap. Now call them by some fancy name these days and sell them often for more than purebred pedigree stock. Designer dogs or not along with the Tcup Chihs, Yorkies etc its yet another way to rip off people as I see it.

We are seeing all kinds of doodles, yorkie and chi crosses, etc. It's fine if people want a small non-shedding dog - just go to a shelter and get one or rescue one. Don't shell out big bucks and support these unethical stupid breeders who are making money on them.

Jago has not got one, never did as a puppy either. Rosie has one, as did my late Honey.
