Can anyone tell me about how long a bag of the freeze dried lamb (16 oz) would last for both Pip and Roo? Pip's current weight is 4.8 and Roo's is 4.2.

Can anyone tell me about how long a bag of the freeze dried lamb (16 oz) would last for both Pip and Roo? Pip's current weight is 4.8 and Roo's is 4.2. They both probably would get about 2/3 of a patty per meal. I don't feed the freeze dried and get the big sized bags of the frozen...so I can't provide much help on how long it would last, but I think feeding the freeze dried is more expensive than the frozen. I know for personal reasons you don't do raw meats etc. but I do find that the frozen makes them feel fuller...the freeze dried they just think is a cookie So IDK if that is an option or not for you but either way I think both are great products.

Yeah we do the large frozen patties too. Your pups would probably eat 1/2 pattie a day total so a 6lb bag (cost us about $26) would last you two about 24 days as there are 12 patties per 6lb bag.
I've also never fed the freeze dried as it seems much more expensive.

I use the freeze dried. A 16 ounce bag has 32 patties. I would guess that if you fed it exclusively, you would probably feed half a patty in the morning and half in the evening so one patty a day. You could adjust up or down, but that's what I would say to start with. (Brody is 5 pounds and when I use S&C for a meal, he eats half a patty with a tablespoon of warm water. It becomes like a canned food consistency).
So one bag would last about 2 weeks if you fed it twice a day exclusively.
