Does anyone have this crate from Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FS6INUI know it's fairly popular so I'm wondering if anyone who might own it can tell me how stable it is. It's made of plastic so that makes me a bit leery. I'm considering getting it for Roo as I feel so bad keeping her in her little crate for 6-8 weeks. She never fusses, whines, or cries at all, but I can't fit her MS bed in her crate and she does miss her bed. Ever time I take her for a little walk around the house, she tries to go into her MS bed, aww. I think this bigger crate would be good to use so she could have her bed in there. I'm just curious how stable the sides are being plastic. Anyone know?

Oh, does she? Awesome then. Hopefully she can let me know about the plastic then. I'm sure it's fine, but just want to be sure. I think this would be perfect for her in the coming weeks.

I think it's the interlocking sides that make me nervous.

Hey hey , just seeing this now Yes we have it, and I looove it. Its really quite sturdy, I mean I wouldn't want to sit on it, but there is no way the dogs can knock it over or anything. I also think it looks pretty cute. I am thinking when we have puppies, if I have 2 litters at once, set 2 of these up next to each other, and go from there. That being said, I could never have left Oakley in this pen as she would have jumped out & thats how she hurt her dang knee in the first place But if Roo won't be trying to escape then it might be a great alternative. It is super easy to put together and take apart and its also nice if you want to go out in the yard and not have the chis running around but out there w/ you.

They don't really "interlock"?? There is a long post thing you stick down through circle thingies to hold it all together

Oooh I see how the sides work now, that's much better/sturdier than. By looking at them I thought it was some sort of interlocking thingie. I cannot see Roo even attempting to jump out. She is just not like that really. She never even stands up in her crate or anything. How tall are the sides? I don't think she could jump out even if she wanted to really, she is not an Olympic hurdler like Oakley. ;D
Thanks Kristi. I'm going to order it then. If I don't feel uncomfortable with her in it I can always crate her when I'm at work and then use it the rest of the time when I'm home. It'll be a good alternative for her as I know she will love having her MS bed in there.

We don't have it out right now so I can't go measure it, but the walls are about the height of a baby gate...Ha just perfect for Ms Oakley. I swear that dog is going to be the end of me w/ her olympic hurdling
