I let Oakley sleep in the bed with me with the cone on, I am such a bad mummy...I just leashed her to me...LOL.

lol. I would do that too if it was just the groove deepening, but I'm so scared she would fall off the bed or something crazy and her knee will come apart or I'll roll on her leg and mess it up. It's the damn pins and implants that have me all freaked out. When I get the x pen on Friday I'll let her sleep in there with her MS bed, I think that should help. Hopefully.

I don't blame you for being cautious. Oakley did this full on tearful howling that I Just couldn't take. She usually is good but I was paranoid too, I slept still as could be for like 4 weeks See I think the pins and implants should be giving you this huge confidence because I am certain they were put in right and thus she has like...bionic knees!

Aww poor Oakley. Roo doesn't do that, thankfully. That would be hard to take.
I have to be cautious because if something happens as result I'll seriously be done for. And I wish I felt really confident about it, but because the first surgery wasn't successful (she obviously needed much more than the deepening) I still keep imagining her leg popping out. I'm so used to seeing it do that, I'm almost just waiting for it to happen now. Terrible to feel that way, but that's still where I'm at. They do seem really solid, but I'll be curious what the ortho says tomorrow.

Crate arrived and I just put it together. Yay. Wow it's really awesome. The 4 panel is really quite big too. Will be great for using outside as well.

ok I took a few really quick (not so great quality, but gives you an idea) pics. I really love the crate, it's just so nice! It'll be awesome for using outside too so she can be out there with me, but still contained. Roo quickly went to sleep in her snuggle sack. haha. Pip and I were in there for a bit too. hee hee. This is what Pip looks like when I say dinner. lol. You can see how well her legs have healed in this pic. Her poor shaved bum and legs though. Can't wait till her hair grows back.
