Barbara I live in north Kent, and have lived in Kent all my life seriously there are none I've seen 5 locally in the past 3 years. I went into Medway and saw one overweight smooth... Seriously none! Kent is a lab county Sarah, I've seen Chihuahuas myself when visiting my friend, she lives in Rochester I lived in that area briefly and while I can imagine Labs being popular in the country areas, the Medway towns hardly fall into that category But that said I think labs have universal appeal A quick search shows there are a considerable amount for sale in the area too and stud dogs aplenty How strange you never see any

Must just be the last 30 years I've spent all over Kent then... Either that or My eyes need testing.
I'm 12 miles from London... Doesn't count as countryside I'm a suburb.

Kent or rather areas of it do seem to be a bit of a hot spot for Chihuahua breeders Guess it's pretty much that way in many places now, I hear the Midlands are bad too? And of course Wales, not of course that all breeders in these areas are "iffy" Always thought it must be difficult for the good bdog breeders in Wales, the reputaion of the area for puppy farms goes before them!

We must look in different places as I've only seen a couple of ads for the Kent area and it's a huge county. Granted there are a couple of iffy breeders here but there is like 2 local decent breeders but they don't advertise on the likes of p4h

Obviously There's one site with 67 Chihuahua adverts for the county of Kent, though some will be stud dogs as I have said and no doubt a smattering of Chi crosses. Ah, all this talk of Kent is making me fancy a trip down there. Some lovely countryside around Canterbury *sigh* Probably give Chatham a miss mind you, though I met some lovely people there, loved working in the Medway Hospital, happy times

Chatham is horrible. Chav city!!! Canterbury is nice. I still stick by it though very few chis here and not being ride but I've lived here all my life and had family scattered throughout. Unless people don't ever take their chis out there are v few and far between. Everyone has choc labs, gsds or mixes
