we have a awful puppy farm near us that has the puppies available on a board outside, they have has chi's before. i think the reason you dont see a lot of chihuahuas out and about is because not many people walk them, i have a few fdriends around here who own them but dont take them on walks, to many chavs with staffs...

The main one you pass on the way to tenby has a HUGE professional sign that offers puppies available and you can see a big field and house but I haven't noticed barns or wherever they would be kept. I am so shocked that farming of pups is allowed, it really baffles me.

I know many "puppy farms" actually buy them in from Ireland/wherever and sell them on from their premises. It's also known that they/dog dealers will sell from private homes, so it looks as though they are pet breeders selling pups, which many people love the sound of. They just make an excuse as to why mum can't be seen.

Breeders have been scammed by dealers... Going round saying they lost their chi and want a replacement later to find it in Harrods

Honestly there is that wonderful story of those 2 guys who bought a lion cub from there and kept him in their london flat and furniture shop until he got too big and they got him a place in a sanctuary in Africa - very wonderful story but so wrong that they were allowed to sell 2 suburban living men a lion cub in London.
